ACTIVE SHOOTER – This segment will take you step by step through real life scenarios, many in which officers have been shot and seriously injured or killed.  Training, preparation, and the proper equipment can likely prevent this tragedy from occurring in your future.  This seminar is designed to help you, the FIRST RESPONDING officer(s), react to and survive a deadly force encounter with one or more suspects.

HIGH-RISK RAID PLANNING – This segment will aid officers in preparing, planning, and executing high-risk search and arrest warrants while promoting team concepts.  This seminar is the basic instruction class for the development, introduction, and utilization of Special Response Teams (or SWAT).

                                                 Topics of Study and Discussion:

·         Traffic Stop Survival Tactics

 The primary instructor for this seminar will be Chief Deputy Eddie Ingram of the Quitman County Sheriff’s Department.  He has over 30 years of experience and is a POST certified instructor in Alabama , Georgia and Florida .  Eddie also serves as a MASTER INSTRUCTOR for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).  He has trained more than 23,000 municipal, county, state, federal, and military personnel throughout the United States , Iraq and Afghanistan .  He is considered by many in Law Enforcement as one of the nation’s leading experts in Highway Criminal Interdiction, Drug Enforcement Techniques, Officer Survival, SWAT Tactics and Patrol Procedures.  Guest speakers will include two officers who were shot and seriously wounded in the line of duty in 2009.

COST: $55.00 per officer. 16 hours of POST credit (any state).  Departments paying for 4 officers can send 2 additional officers free of charge (must be registered as group).  Make checks payable to “USTTG, Inc.”
